Welcome to the home of "Lights on Sixth" Kankakee's only Computerized Christmas Display Sorry, No 2011 Show Please visit the "Bird Park's Lights Spectacular" for a wonderful display experience. Friday-Sunday 6-10pm December 2nd-January 1st. $3 per car load/$5 for buses or Conv. Vans Enter from the East on Station street. always had a lighted Christmas Display on our home. Decorating and
putting the lights up is just our way of spreading Christmas Joy throughout
the community. With the economy the way it is these days, we are glad
to be able to provide some free entertainment to everyone.
How to get here?This is our third year producing a computer controlled display. As usual there is some stress getting a display like this up and running, but seeing the wide eyes and beaming smiles of the children as they watched the show makes it all worth it. Both the Daily Journal and the Bourbonnais Herald have done articles on our display which really helped get the word out. If you like our display, please be sure to tell your friends, family, and neighbors.  Show Information  ( CLICK ABOVE TO GET MAP OR DIRECTIONS ) The display is located at 1460
S. Sixth Ave. in Kankakee, Illinois. We are one and a half blocks South
of the Convenient Store located on Jeffery Street on the Southwest side
of the City of Kankakee.
2010 Shows Run Daily Daily from 6PM - 9PM When you get here!! - Please park on the side of the street and please Do Not block Sixth Avenue or any other viewer watching the display.
- Tune your car radio to 107.3 FM to listen to "Lights on Sixth Radio" which plays the music the lights are choreographed to. As a courtesy to neighbors, please keep your radio volume to a reasonable listening level. - Sit back and enjoy the show. Be sure to tell your friends and family about our Christmas Light Show. Visit
