Lights on Sixth

We have always had a lighted Christmas Display on our home. Decorating and putting the lights up is just our way of spreading Christmas Joy throughout the community. Last Christmas was our first year producing a computer controlled display. There were some stressful times, but seeing the wide eyes and beaming smiles of the children as they watched the show made it all worth it. Both the Daily Journal and the Bourbonnais Herald both did articles on our display last year which really helped get the word out. We really appreciated it. We will be collecting non-perishable food items to be delivered to the Salvation Army. If you wish to donate, please leave your item in the box at the front of the display.

The display is located at 1460 S. Sixth Ave. in Kankakee, Illinois. We are one and a half blocks South of the Convenient Store located on Jeffery Street on the Southwest side of the City of Kankakee.

    -   Please park on the side of the street and please Do Not block Sixth Avenue or any other viewer watching the display.

    - Tune your car radio to 107.3 FM to listen to "Lights on Sixth Radio" which plays the music the lights are choreographed to. As a courtesy to neighbors, please keep your radio volume to a reasonable listening level.

    -    Sit back and enjoy the show. Be sure to tell your friends and family about our Christmas Light Show.
